Chandra Designs is a jewelry studio centered around the idea that quality, beautiful, handmade pieces can be created in an ethical manner, and at an affordable price. I created the company to offer unique but eminently wearable items from a culturally inspired collection.
Chandra Designs began by working directly with craftspeople in India to bring creative designs, using only genuine metals and stones. Very soon, I realized how much I enjoyed the actual craft of creating pieces through wire-wrapping and embarked on my own journey in Alexandria, VA. I source the stones only from small workshops, people who have honed their craft over decades.
Sustainability is cornerstone of Chandra Designs, and I attempt to leave a small carbon footprint every step of the way, from sourcing to packaging (we use no single-use plastics and only use recycled paper in our packaging).
We aim to provide our customers with pieces that stand out and last a lifetime.
